New medical students are welcomed into the medical profession through a white coat ceremony, a meaningful rite of passage for the students as they begin the next step in their careers and education. Jessica Anderson, a XULA BUILD Project Pathways alumna, was among members of the Class of 2024 and the Class of 2025 at the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health New Orleans School of Medicine who received their white coats as future health professionals. Seven other XULA graduates also received their coats during the ceremony.
