The Mentor Training Core (MTC) of NRMN, based at University of Wisconsin-Madison, recently shared their experiences and research on mentorship.
In the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science, the MTC published an academic article on their experience with Facilitator Training and the impact it has on trainees: Increasing research mentor training among biomedical researchers at Clinical and Translational Science Award hubs: The impact of the facilitator training initiative
The MTC’s Principal Investigator, Christine Pfund, Ph.D., also published an article in the American Society for Cell Biology’s ASCB Post, Careers section. In it, she shares how to go above and beyond with mentees by considering principles from both science and art in developing mentorship practices. Check out the article: The Science and Art of Mentoring.
